1.
This was originally a bait and switch, I wanted the album to look like a shitty black metal album at first then devolve into something else. Pretty sure I just ripped off a Darkthrone riff
2.
Bleed Cum 00:32
I don't really know wtf this is, all of the drums are stacked kicks though, so that's fun.
3.
This is stolen from some romcom my mom watched a lot called The Proposal. It is also not good.
4.
This was intended as a "Hey guys, stop sending dick pics to girls you don't know" type of thing. Unsolicited dick pics are gross.
5.
As I started doing these "commentaries", I realized I've never seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies so I have no idea why I wrote a song about them.
6.
The B-52's are rad and I wanted to cover Rock Lobster for similar reasons, and the joke of a noisecore or whatever I am artist covering a new wave song.
7.
Crab Uncle 01:36
This is a companion piece to Rock Lobster, it's a 'what if' of if rock lobsters took over the world or something. I wanted to be br00tal.
8.
This is another one where I have no idea what I was doing. I feel like I half ripped off an early Nirvana song but also I don't want to blame them for this...
9.
This is based on a true story. Someone in my hometown was indeed selling meth at Planet Fitness. If anyone asks, it wasn't me.
10.
This was my attempt to rip off a shitty metalcore breakdown but it kinda became it's own thing.
11.
My magnum opus. I was trying to make something incredibly heavy so I think this has like 4 layers of guitar? Something stupid like that. Also I have no idea how to solo and that's why that bass solo turned out as 'not good' as it did.

about

Released on April 1st of 2017 and re-released here on it's 3 year anniversary! The first and so far only full length album by Carbuncle.
Instead of lyrics, I thought it'd be fun to add an "artist commentary" for each track, just to explain what it's about/what I was going for.

It wasn't good then and it certainly isn't now but nevertheless, enjoy.
